Sublimated Plaques
Our sublimated plaques are available in a range of sizes starting at the 4"x6" through to 10"x12". Full colour printed logos and photos can be achieved. Gold, Silver, Bronze and White aluminium is printed on using a heat press, which melts the ink into the aluminium giving the colours a metallic finish. By using this method we can only match true pantone colours as close as possible.
Brass & Cast Bronze plaques
Brass is used for outdoor use. Brass engraving can be a long and laborious process, which is often inconvenient for some customers. Due to the time and labour involved it meant that that the prices for a brass plaque was quite high. Over the years and with our state of the art technology wee have been able to come up with 3 new ways to engrave a brass plaque to suit deadlines and budgets. Engraving
Diamond drag engraving is the most common form of controlled engraving available. The diamond tip on the machines is controlled by air pressure which forces the diamond tip to be dragged across any surface. Engraving of aluminium plates used for trophies and cylindrical objects (Pewter tankards) are engraved using this method.
Laser engraving
Our state of the art laser engraving equipment is designed to deliver quick, clean, quality results for a broad range of needs. Laser engraver work by shooting a laser beam off mirrors to a focusing lens, which is moves back and forth across the engraving area, much like a common printer. By controlling the laser's speed and power, various materials can be engraved and cut into shapes.
Sandblasting
Engraving of logo's and text can be achieved by a method called sandblasting. The sand (Aluminium Oxide) is blasted onto a transfer resulting in the image being permanently engraved onto the glassware.
Hand Engraving
Our hand engraver and his work are highly recommended through quality jewellers in and around Canberra. He has been hand engraving for over 15 years and his services are highly sort after. His attention to detail is second to none and he prides himself on delivering the customer with a neat and professional job. Turn around time for hand engraved items is usually 2 working days and the minimum charge starts at $17.60.
