Diamond drag engraving is the most common form of controlled engraving available. The diamond tip on the machines is controlled by air pressure which forces the diamond tip to be dragged across any surface. Engraving of aluminium plates used for trophies and cylindrical objects (Pewter tankards) is done using this method.
